Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco seeks a Senior Business Analyst in the Supervision Group to support exam teams, develop MIS reporting, and drive operational improvements. The role emphasizes requirements gathering, process mapping, dashboards, and automation using AI tools.

You will collaborate across teams, lead change management, design training materials, and mentor interns while contributing to continuous quality improvement in the analytics function.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field.
• Five+ years of business analysis and analytics experience.
• Experience building dashboards in Tableau or Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational and administrative support throughout the exam life cycle, including formatting supervisory documents, document management, tracking results, and data entry and verification of exam content across multiple applications.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to map current processes, identify key controls, roles, bottlenecks, and difficulties, and define and implement improved processes.
• Streamline and automate manual work using Microsoft Power Automate and Power Apps.
• Evaluate AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) for practical use cases, recommend where they add value, and help prepare the team for responsible adoption.
• Gather business requirements, then design and build dashboards (Tableau or Power BI) and MIS reporting. Analyze data and metrics to uncover insights and trends.
• Coordinate projects and activities to address business needs and monitor metrics to ensure project effectiveness.
• Lead change management efforts to drive adoption of new technologies and processes, and assess the impact of upcoming technology and business changes on the team.
• Design and deliver training and materials for internal and external partners.
• Write, update, and maintain team procedures as the business changes, and contribute to the unit's internal procedures tool.
• Strengthen team continuity through cross-training, documentation, and backup coverage, and mentor interns and team members.
