Job summary

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in the SDLC, preferably in Agile environments.
• Experience analyzing investment management workflows (middle-office, position, tax lot reconciliation).
• Familiarity with equities, fixed income, foreign exchange, derivatives and related asset classes.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, including stakeholder management.
• Ability to translate business needs into detailed functional and technical requirements.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL); familiarity with ETL technologies such as Kettle or Talend is a plus.
• Proven ability to produce comprehensive business, functional, and technical specification documents.

Responsibilities

• Apply knowledge of requirements, investment workflows, and processes to support product development initiatives.
• Research and produce detailed business and technical requirement documents.
• Analyze middle-office and back-office workflows and create detailed functional specs.
• Gather requirements with clients and product management to develop feature specifications.
• Participate in all SDLC phases from requirements to validation.
• Collaborate with engineering to design, implement, and refine product capabilities.
• Plan validation activities, perform functional testing, and develop verification plans.
• Provide feedback on functionality, usability, and performance for continuous improvement.
• Review documentation for accuracy and high quality deliverables.
• Support client beta programs and assist in training users on new capabilities.
• Assist in managing project schedules, milestones, deliverables, and dependencies.
• Collaborate with implementation and support teams to troubleshoot issues.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and Jira item refinement and tracking.
• Coordinate with QA, support, and product management to ensure timely releases.
• Identify risks and dependencies and drive resolutions.
