Job summary

Wellington Management is building a cutting-edge hedge fund technology platform and seeks a Senior Business Analyst to translate complex business needs into scalable tech solutions. You will partner with stakeholders, work across finance and engineering, and help modernize real-time P&L capabilities and investor analytics.

The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in business analysis, with investment management or financial services background.
• Experience leading end-to-end solution delivery with business partners.
• Proficiency in writing requirements, specifications, use cases, and test plans.
• Understanding of portfolio management, investment workflows, and hedge fund operations.

Responsibilities

• Define, analyze, prioritize, and document requirements with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with engineering to deliver scalable solutions on time.
• Develop functional specs, workflows, and use cases for delivery teams.
• Perform hands-on data analysis and diagnose production issues as needed.
• Plan releases, post-release validation, and stabilization activities.
• Support UX/UI design efforts and prototype as needed.
• Coordinate project status, dependencies, and issue tracking.
