Job summary

American Association Of Motor Vehicles is seeking a Senior Business Analyst- Driver P&S for its Arlington, VA office. The role performs business and technical analysis to establish feasibility and supports deployment of AAMVA systems and complex programs.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in business and systems analysis, strong documentation skills, and experience with RESTful services, UML, XML, and agile practices. A Federal public trust clearance is required or obtainable.

Qualifications

Minimum 6 years solid, progressive experience in business analysis and systems analysis across large-scale projects
Proficiency in writing technical documentation
Experience documenting business processes and requirements
Experience with RESTful web services, UML and XML is highly desired
Experience with agile processes and writing user stories in agile projects

Responsibilities

Performs business and technical analysis to develop specifications, procedures manuals, and implementation guides for AAMVA systems
Develops data models, data flow diagrams, data dictionaries, and process documentation
Monitors task completion and produces reports documenting progress
Translates requirements into system design specifications with stakeholders
Coordinates pilots and provides technical assistance, training and other services
Assists with base statements of work and project definitions
Develops impact assessment surveys and analyzes anticipated costs for AAMVA systems
Reviews proposals for feasibility, resource estimates, and operational impacts
Prepares reports to Congress and Federal Agencies about findings
