Job summary

Artifintech is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support business and technology change for an oil and gas client in Atlanta. You will collaborate with commercial, operational and technology teams to understand current operations, identify where processes or systems need change, and translate findings into clear requirements for delivery teams.

This hands-on role covers the full delivery lifecycle, from discovery through to solution design, UAT and implementation.

• Lead discovery workshops and stakeholder interviews to clarify objectives and priorities.
• Map current and future processes, documenting handovers, rules and data flows.
• Translate business needs into functional/non-functional requirements and user stories.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery workshops and stakeholder interviews to clarify business objectives, define scope and priorities.
• Map current and future processes, documenting handovers, business rules, controls and data flows across teams and systems.
• Translate business needs into functional and non-functional requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Work with architects, developers and testers to evaluate solution options and assess impact of changes.
• Identify risks and gaps in processes, data or systems and address them with stakeholders.
• Support UAT by defining scenarios and coordinating business input.
• Maintain traceability from requirements to testing and sign-off.
