Guidehouse is seeking a Senior Business Analyst Consultant in the DC/VA area to transform financial management processes and support performance measurement. The role involves collaborating with senior leadership, gathering requirements, and guiding changes across defense and national security programs.

The position offers hybrid work (2–3 days in client or Guidehouse offices) and opportunities to develop client-facing skills, with a focus on governance, risk, and process improvement.

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, information systems, engineering, business analytics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in business analysis, consulting, financial management, process improvement, product management, or project management.
• Ability to synthesize information quickly, lead client discussions, and document requirements.

• Familiarity with project management best practices and agile ceremonies is a plus.

This project requires self-motivated individuals who are willing to develop solutions on their own or in a team of highly skilled professionals. Project members are provided the opportunity to interact with our client’s senior management, and to enhance their skills in technical competency, business development, client service, and people development. Our team provides specialized experience and knowledge in financial management, process analysis, risk management, and performance measurement to support project activities. Team members will operate in a hybrid environment and are expected to collaborate at client office or Guidehouse office 2-3 days per week. Candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred.* Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, information systems, engineering, business analytics, or a related field* THREE (3) or more years of experience in business analysis, consulting, financial management, process improvement, product management, project management, or similar. Experience should include, but not be limited to:* Ability to synthesize information quickly and learn new skills, view problems and apply a variety of solutions, and lead client-facing discussions and meetings* Supporting client meetings and presenting recommendations to senior-level leadership* Utilizing project management best practices* Working in teams to produce high-impact work products* Documenting and evaluating business processes and making recommendations for process improvements* Conducting research to investigate client problems and working collaboratively with a team to formulate and recommend solutions **What Would Be Nice To Have:*** FIVE (5) or more years of experience in business analysis, consulting, financial management, process improvement, product management, project management, or similar.* Certifications in project management, Agile, Scrum, change management (e.g., PMP, CSM, SAFe, CCMP) and/or strong understanding of these concepts, or interest in obtaining these certifications* Experience with change management or organizational design, especially in financial and human resource environmentsThe annual salary range for this position is $98,000.00-$163,000.00.
