Job summary

Cognizance Technologies, LLC is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst / Agile Project Coordinator in Silver Spring, MD to support complex cross-functional initiatives. You will bridge business stakeholders with technical teams, translate needs into actionable requirements, coordinate Agile delivery, track risks, and drive efficient progress from requirements through release.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
Approximately 8 years of progressive experience in BA, Agile coordination, PM, or related roles.
Experience performing business analysis and requirements management in complex cross-functional environments.
Strong knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
Experience developing user stories and acceptance criteria, process flows, and documentation.
Experience coordinating Agile ceremonies and supporting sprint-based delivery.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and stakeholder expectations.
Strong facilitation skills with business and technical stakeholders.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience operating in multi-team environments with competing priorities.

Responsibilities

Coordinate activities across business, technical, content, publishing, QA and other stakeholders.
Develop and maintain project schedules, milestone plans, risk and issue logs.
Monitor deliverables, identify schedule risks and blockers.
Coordinate meetings, decisions, and action items; track follow-ups.
Escalate risks and issues to project leadership when appropriate.
Support release planning and readiness activities.
Prepare status updates and executive-level reports.
