Job summary

HonorVet Technologies in Raleigh, NC seeks a Senior Business Analyst for a 12-month onsite contract. You will analyze stakeholders, map current and future processes, and craft user stories, acceptance criteria, and diagrams. You will validate requirements and support UAT with test scenarios.

The role requires 7+ years in BA, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams within SDLC guidelines. Onsite work in Raleigh and local travel are expected.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in business analysis, requirements gathering, and business process design.
• Strong writing and communication skills; ability to build client relationships.
• Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams and tight timelines.
• Thorough understanding of SDLC and IT Service Management practices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project) and SharePoint.
• Experience creating context diagrams, functional decomposition, ERDs, data dictionaries, and system context diagrams.
• Healthcare data reporting systems experience recommended.

Responsibilities

• Conduct stakeholder analysis and market research.
• Document current-state and future-state business processes and workflows.
• Create and refine user stories, acceptance criteria, use cases, wireframes, context diagrams, functional decomposition, ERDs, data dictionaries, and system context diagrams.
• Gather, validate, and document business, functional, and technical requirements.
• Develop and maintain project artifacts, reports, and user documentation.
• Perform functional and integrated testing; support UAT with test scenarios and cases.
• Prepare and maintain Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM).
• Assist in procurement documentation and evaluation criteria; provide input to procurement deliverables.
• Ensure application designs meet business requirements; collaborate with PMs, developers, and end users.
• Attend PMO meetings; follow PMO BA/PM methodology.
• Document gap analyses; produce meeting minutes and distribute to stakeholders.
• Travel locally within the Raleigh area as needed.
