Job summary

SEI is seeking a senior Business Analyst in Pennsylvania to lead onboarding of new solutions, translate requirements into technical specs, and manage custom reporting initiatives. The role emphasizes data-driven problem solving across front-to-back office processes within the Alternatives space.

You will design end-to-end test cases, oversee process improvements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, fund accountants, and relationship managers to deliver robust

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Computer Science, MIS, Mathematics, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Business or applicable experience.
• Minimum 8 years of business analyst experience with building reports, ETL, SQL, and other product development areas within the Alternatives industry.
• In depth knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), analytical expertise, and familiarity with agile frameworks such as Scrum.
• Ability to break down sophisticated data and operational problems and communicate to product development.
• FinTech experience with Alternative funds that supported operations, reporting, and allocations.
• Proficiency with data analysis tools including databases, SQL, etc.
• Proficiency in program management tools and software, such as JIRA and Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Direct new solutions onboarding including estimation, approach/design, systems configuration, reporting, data conversion, and automations.
• Responsible for translating requirements into documented technical specifications and managing the overall custom reporting and file extract projects.
• Develop comprehensive end-to-end (E2E) test cases at the application and multi-application levels.
• Overseeing the implementation of approved process improvements.
• Assess, analyze client customized requests and solutions.
• Collaborate with developers, quality assurance tests, fund accountants, investor services associates, relationship managers and external stakeholders in the design, delivery, maintenance of the solutions.
