Job summary

Quento Technologies S.A., the ICT arm of the Qualco Group, seeks a Senior Business Analyst to join our team and collaborate closely with customers on domestic and international IT projects.

You will lead requirements gathering, document processes and KPIs, translate requirements to technical specs, and work with Agile teams to ensure successful outcomes and compliant solutions across GDPR and AI Act landscapes.

Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in business analysis or related roles.
• Experience in working using Agile methodology.
• Experience in using SDLC management tools to record and manage analysis artefacts.

Responsibilities

• Lead business requirements gathering and align with project goals.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to document processes, KPIs, and requirements.
• Analyze current processes and propose improvements for efficiency.
• Translate requirements into technical specifications for IT solutions.
• Work with technical teams to ensure successful implementation.

• Develop traceability matrices to monitor requirements.
• Coordinate with QA to ensure test coverage and UAT support.
• Perform high level analysis in inception phase and propose solutions.
• Prepare business cases and cost-benefit analyses for stakeholders.

Quento Technologies S.A. seeks an experienced and highly motivated Senior Business Analyst to join our team and collaborate closely with our customers in domestic and international IT projects.

Your responsibilities will entail:

• Lead business requirements gathering and ensure alignment with project goals;
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define and document business processes, KPIs, and requirements;
• Analyze current business processes and propose improvements for efficiency and effectiveness;
• Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications for IT solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives;
• Work closely with technical teams to ensure requirements are translated into successful solutions;
• Create and maintain project documentation, including requirements specifications and user stories;
• Manage product backlog, participate in iteration and release planning, and actively engage in agile ceremonies to support continuous delivery and improvement;
• Develop Requirements Management Plans and Traceability Matrices to monitor and manage requirements throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring all requirements are met;
• Collaborate with quality assurance experts to ensure sufficient test coverage for both functional and non-functional requirements and support user acceptance testing and end-user training activities;
• Be able to perform high level analysis during exploratory, inception phase of a project, understand the business problem and propose appropriate solutions;
• Prepare Business Cases, Feasibility Studies, Cost-Benefit analyses and defend them in business stakeholders, project sponsors and management audience;
• Ensure alignment of requirements with customer’s Regulatory landscape (e.g. GDPR, AI Act);
• Ensuring that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting the continued implementation of the Group Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy.

Qualifications and Experience:

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field;
• Minimum 5 years of experience in business analysis or related roles;
• Experience in working using Agile methodology;
• Experience in using SDLC management tools (Azure DevOps, Jira or similar) to record and manage analysis artefacts (User Stories, Requirements etc.) and collaborate with rest of team members
• Sound knowledge of business analysis methodologies and best practices, demonstrated by practical experience in IT projects;
• Experience in requirements development and management in software development projects during the whole software development lifecycle;
• Ability to build collaborative relationships with clients and project team members;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Experience and willingness to work in an international/multicultural environment;
• Excellent knowledge of English language (written and verbal);
• PMI Professional in Business Analysis – PMI-PBA®, or IIBA Certified Business Analysis Professional – CBAP®.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

• Familiarity in performing Business Analysis for AI and data analytics solutions;
• Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent Agile certification is highly desirable;
• Relevant certifications in internationally recognized project management methodologies (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is considered an asset
