• Experience working within a formal SDLC environment.

• Experience supporting UAT, including test planning, test script development, execution, defect tracking, and business sign-off.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to translate complex business needs into clear, actionable requirements.

• Guidewire certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and document Guidewire PolicyCenter defects, enhancements, and business requirements.
• Investigate production issues and defects to identify root causes, business impacts, and appropriate solutions.
• Evaluate enhancement requests and determine business value, scope, dependencies, and potential impacts to existing functionality.
• Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and system requirements in accordance with SDLC standards.
• Translate business needs into detailed requirements that can be understood and implemented by technical teams.
• Lead requirements-gathering sessions, stakeholder interviews, process reviews, and solution discussions.
• Partner with underwriting, policy administration, operations, product owners, developers, QA, and other stakeholders to ensure solutions meet business objectives.
• Use knowledge of insurance data and Guidewire capabilities to help identify effective solutions for reporting and data-consumption requirements.

Guidewire PolicyCenter Business Analyst – Commercial P&C

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support Guidewire PolicyCenter enhancements, defect analysis, requirements development, and business process improvements for Commercial Property & Casualty insurance systems.

The Business Analyst will serve as a liaison between business stakeholders, underwriting, policy administration, and IT teams. This role will be responsible for understanding business needs, analyzing production issues and defects, developing clear functional requirements, and supporting the delivery and testing of solutions within an established SDLC environment.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of Business Analysis experience within Commercial Property & Casualty insurance, strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and processes, and preferably hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter.

Key Responsibilities:
