Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician in Tucker, GA to perform preventive maintenance on building systems and respond to maintenance requests. The role requires experience in HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems and the ability to work with hand and power tools.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in building maintenance or a related field.
• Basic understanding of HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems.
• Proficiency in the use of hand and power tools and the ability to diagnose and perform general repairs independently.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects and safely perform maintenance work in various working conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing and general building systems, including basic HVAC tasks such as changing filters and belts.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing and general building issues in a timely and efficient manner.
• Inspect buildings and premises for safety hazards and perform necessary maintenance to maintain a safe working environment.
• Respond to maintenance requests and coordinate with external contractors when specialized repairs are required.
• Maintain tools and supplies inventory and accurately document completed maintenance and repair activities.
