Qualifications

• Knowledge of local, state, and federal construction compliance and zoning codes.
• Experience in building code inspection or plans review with relevant certifications.
• Ability to use MS Office and specialized software for inspections.

Responsibilities

• Perform senior level building inspections and enforcement of codes for new and existing construction.
• Operate with considerable initiative and independent judgment; seek guidance on unusual problems.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in cross-training as required.
