Job summary

SOCOTEC is expanding its Building Envelope practice in Irvine, CA, seeking a Senior Associate who is a licensed engineer or architect. The role requires 5–10 years of building envelope experience, CA licensure, and the ability to manage projects and client communications.

Compensation ranges from USD 150,000 to 180,000 per year, with a 10% bonus potential. The candidate will lead envelope projects across new and existing structures, coordinate with project managers, and produce detailed reports

Qualifications

• 5-10 years building envelope project experience.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent PC skills with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage envelope projects from scope to budget.
• Coordinate meetings with clients, PMs, designers, and contractors.
• Prepare detailed reports and drawings for envelope analysis.
• Maintain knowledge of local building codes and compliance.
• Mentor field services team and assist in new proposals.
