We are currently seeking a Senior Building Energy Engineer to join McKinstry as part of our growing Technical Services Midwest team. McKinstry supports clients and their facilities throughout the lifecycle of a building; the Technical Services team focuses on optimizing and increasing energy efficiency of existing buildings through a consultative approach. We work directly with owners to help them make effective decisions that improve efficiency, occupant comfort, and building lifespan.
In this role, you will be a front-line energy engineer on high-impact energy and facility optimization consulting projects, owning the delivery of outcome-oriented solutions. You will leverage your experience in problem solving, systems analysis, data analysis, and communication to promote sustainability and efficiency for schools, university campuses, hospitals, data centers, and other facilities.
Communication and collaboration are key, often requiring partnership with other McKinstry teams to deliver effective results. You will be responsible for making technical recommendations, building actionable reports, presenting them to clients, and assisting with implementation.
