Job summary

Sletten Construction Company is seeking an experienced Northern Building Division Manager to lead a fully functioning construction management team serving Montana and surrounding areas. You will drive project management, mentorship, and strategic planning while promoting safety and collaboration across field and office.

The role demands a decisive leader, strong communication, and a proven track record in CM/GC or CMAR environments, with relocation to Great Falls, MT and regular travel to

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management/sciences, Engineering or related discipline and/or 10 years of work experience in project management, contracting, engineering, construction management or representing the construction industry.
• 5 years of management experience overseeing a team that is responsible for project successes.
• Vertical building construction experience is required.
• Alternative project delivery experience (CM/GC, CMAR, Design Build, Progressive Design Build) is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and mentor direct reports through development plans, coaching, feedback, and growth opportunities.
• Forecast workload 3 years out and plan programs, strategies, and supervision accordingly.
• Oversee hiring and terminations for the team.
• Prepare and submit bids and proposals for the group; conduct interviews and prepare written proposals as needed.
• Monitor project progress and adjust staffing to maximize efficiency.
