Boomering seeks a Senior Building Designer – Commercial Interiors with at least five years of Australian commercial design experience. The role focuses on developing construction documentation for Australian office fitouts and refurbishments, with independent work and remote collaboration with a Perth-based team.

The ideal candidate will have advanced AutoCAD skills, strong drafting capabilities, and a solid understanding of NCC and accessibility, fire safety, and egress requirements for

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of Australian commercial building design experience.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory).
• Strong technical drafting, detailing, and construction documentation capabilities.
• Sound working knowledge of the NCC, Australian Standards, and relevant statutory requirements.
• Ability to independently develop and coordinate complete technical documentation packages.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Independently develop detailed, coordinated construction documentation for Australian commercial fitouts, refurbishments, and change-of-use projects.
• Prepare drawing packages including floor plans, ceiling plans, elevations, sections, joinery documentation.
• Produce accurate technical drawings using AutoCAD.
• Coordinate with the Australian design team and ensure compliance with NCC and standards.
• Maintain drawing registers, revision controls, and quality checks.
