Siemens Mobility is seeking a Senior Building Automation Systems Specialist in Raleigh, NC. The role involves commissioning and validating building automation systems, coordinating with teams, and ensuring system performance according to project scope.

The candidate should have 3+ years in electro-mechanical systems, experience with BACnet/LON/Modbus, and be comfortable with site installation, documentation, and on-call duties. This is a full-time, on-site role at the Raleigh branch.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with electro-mechanical systems and user PC/software
• Proven experience with building automation protocols such as LON, BACnet, N2, Modbus
• Ability to read, understand, and interpret design and construction documents
• Willingness to work in various environments (ladders, ducts, roofs, etc.)
• Must have a valid driver's license and be 18+ with legal work authorization in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Commission new distributed digital control systems on construction sites within planned timelines
• Document commissioning details and communicate deficiencies and progress
• Act as the Lead Technician and plan work with Team Leader
• Perform data back-up and network diagnostics for control systems
• Conduct operational testing, verification, and customer acceptance
• Coordinate with trade contractors for startup services
• Submit time and expense reports and adhere to safety policies
