Backed by $450M from leading investors and $500M in signed contracts, we’re mass‑producing the highest‑power satellite platforms for missions from LEO to deep space.

With multiple launches planned through 2026 and 2027, we’re building bigger to develop the solar system and become a Kardashev Type II civilization.

The Role

As the build campaign lead for K2’s Mega class satellite, you will develop knowledge of all vehicle subsystems, interface with multiple teams, design and optimize the build flow, and manage integration and testing to deliver on schedule. Your ability to derive clarity from ambiguity and drive autonomously will be essential.

Responsibilities
  • Develop integration planning and satellite build flows for the K2 Mega class satellite at the system level.
  • Work closely with production to define, create, and iterate solutions that increase build efficiency.
  • Collaborate with engineers and technicians to disposition nonconformances and evaluate corrective actions.
  • Serve as integration point of contact for TVAC.
  • Evaluate proposed designs for manufacturability and integration.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical, aerospace, mechanical, computer, or other engineering discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in an integration engineering role (including internships and hardware‑intensive projects).
  • Experience creating, improving, and documenting production processes and workflows.
  • Experience interacting with CAD software and CAD models.
  • Experience working in a clean room and with ESD‑sensitive equipment.
  • Experience leading lift operations.
  • Experience creating GSE, tooling, or shipping containers to support production operations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Expert multitasking skills with the ability to juggle priorities while maintaining focus to deliver against program goals.
Nice to Have
  • Proficient in Python and/or Rust.
  • Experience or exposure in a test or automation role.
  • Experience with GraphQL.
  • Experience with Linux systems.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Base salary range $140,000 – $175,000 plus equity.
  • Salary determined by knowledge, skills, education, and experience.
  • Comprehensive benefits package including paid time off, medical/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, paid parental leave, and other perks.
