Qualifications

• Experience in public sector finance, governmental budget or capital construction/bond accounting.
• Knowledge of governmental accounting and financial reporting (CAAP/GASB).
• Strong financial modeling and communication skills for presenting to boards and committees.

Responsibilities

• Design multi-year capital budgets and long-range financial plans using advanced Excel.
• Establish baseline budgets for projects including escalation and contingencies.
• Prepare and present financial updates to School Boards and oversight committees.
• Monitor budgets, contracts, expenditures and funding fluctuations; analyze variances to mitigate risks.
• Coordinate with external auditors and ensure compliance with GASB and state regulations.
• Supervise and mentor budget analysts and foster a collaborative, performance-driven team.
