About the Team

The Digital Employee Experience Collaboration team, part of Business Technology (BT) at Workday, delivers innovative, engaging digital experiences for our global workforce. Operating at the intersection of technology, artificial intelligence and employee experience, our goal is to eliminate friction and elevate productivity across a fast-paced, distributed workforce. We partner closely with teams across Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, HR, Employee Communications, and other functions to deliver seamless, integrated experiences that support business operations and help Workmates do their best work. We are a collaborative, dynamic team that values creativity, innovation, customer empathy, and continuous improvement.

About the Role

We are seeking a high-energy, high-ownership Senior Business System Analyst Client Platforms to join our global IT team. You are a technology BSA who anticipates needs, eliminates friction, and relentlessly raises the bar for the employee endpoint experience. In this role, you will be expected to drive the experience and security of our tech stack through intelligent automation, self-healing systems, endpoint analytics, and AI. You will sit at the intersection of Client Platforms Engineering, Identity & Access Management and Cybersecurity.

About You
  • Bias for Action: You operate with deep personal ownership and a strong sense of urgency. You don’t wait for permission to solve problems; you proactively identify gaps in the device lifecycle, compliance, and user experience, and build scalable solutions.
  • AI & Automation Champion: You are already actively leveraging generative AI, automated workflows, and AI assistants to streamline ticket queues, optimize hardware provisioning, and eliminate repetitive IT operational toil.
  • Dynamic Communicator: You effortlessly bridge the gap between deep endpoint engineering (macOS/Windows/Mobile) and business strategy, clearly articulating ROI to leadership while commanding respect from systems engineers and security teams.
Responsibilities
  • Endpoint Experience & AI Automation: Leverage business knowledge and technical expertise to find opportunities for process improvements, evaluating and implementing AI/automation solutions (e.g., self-healing scripts, intelligent ticket triage, generative AI for end-user self-service, ML-based proactive health alerts).
  • Requirements & Delivery: Work closely with business partners, Business Technology, and Security to capture requirements, groom user stories, and partner with Client Platforms to deliver cross-functional projects across macOS, Windows, Mobile, and CloudPC environments.
  • Digital Employee Experience (DEX): Utilize DEX tools and telemetry to measure device health, boot times, application performance, and user sentiment; translate data into actionable platform enhancements.
  • Vendor & SaaS Evaluation: Assess vendor products, SaaS platforms, and AI-enabled client management tools against business requirements, security/compliance standards, technical feasibility, and ROI criteria.
  • Launch & Change Management: Facilitate review sessions with functional owners, lead UAT and validation testing, manage change management communications, and oversee launch processes for corporate desktop and mobile platform changes.
Basic Qualifications
  • 8+ years of total IT experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of hands‑on experience as a BSA bridging endpoint/client platform engineering teams and business stakeholders to deliver enterprise hardware and software solutions.
  • Domain Expertise: Deep functional understanding of corporate endpoint environments, including:
    • Unified Endpoint Management (UEM/MDM) tools (e.g., Microsoft Intune, Jamf Pro).
    • Operating Systems ecosystem (macOS, Windows, iOS, Android).
    • Endpoint Security & Compliance integrations (e.g., CrowdStrike, Proofpoint, Zero Trust posture).
  • AI & Automation Capabilities: Hands‑on experience implementing AI-driven automation tools, chatbots, or AI copilots to optimize IT support ticket handling, endpoint workflows, and overall user productivity.
  • AI Domain Fluency: Practical understanding of modern generative AI capabilities, operational limits, governance considerations, and responsible enterprise applications.
Other Qualifications
  • Fast-Paced Tech Background: Experience working in a fast‑paced, high‑growth technology company supporting a remote or hybrid global workforce.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Proven ability to leverage data, telemetry, analytics, and end‑user feedback to analyze complex issues, recommend priorities, and drive measurable improvements in system performance.
  • Methodology: Strong experience in Agile/Scrum environments managing backlog grooming, intake management, and sprint planning.
  • End-to-End Delivery: Proven track record with end-to-end implementation projects, including business requirements documentation, configuration oversight, project management, issue tracking, and change management.
  • Modern Tooling: Hands‑on experience using generative AI for documentation/requirements writing and AI agents for workflow automation within an IT/Operations context.

Our Approach to Flexible Work

With Flex Work, we’re combining the best of both worlds: in-person time and remote. Our approach enables our teams to deepen connections, maintain a strong community, and do their best work. We know that flexibility can take shape in many ways, so rather than a number of required days in‑office each week, we simply spend at least half (50%) of our time each quarter in the office or in the field with our customers, prospects, and partners (depending on role). This means you’ll have the freedom to create a flexible schedule that caters to your business, team, and personal needs, while being intentional to make the most of time spent together. Those in our remote "home office" roles also have the opportunity to come together in our offices for important moments that matter.

Pursuant to applicable Fair Chance law, Workday will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.

Workday is an Equal Opportunity Employer including individuals with disabilities and protected veterans.

Workday is committed to providing reasonable accommodations for qualified individuals during our application process, in order to perform one or more essential functions of their job, as well as regarding the use of AI tools for employment decision-making to any degree.
