Job summary

Jobot, a television network, seeks an experienced Network Architect to design and deploy scalable Spine-Leaf networks supporting high-priority broadcast traffic. You will implement VLAN/VRF segmentation, manage enterprise firewall and zero-trust controls, and optimize switching across Juniper and Arista platforms for video delivery.

This role requires 7–10+ years in high-availability environments, deep expertise in VPNs, QoS, and time synchronization.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years in high-availability network environments (broadcast, telecom, or similar).
• Strong firewall management and switching expertise (Juniper, Arista).
• Experience with enterprise systems (VMware, Active Directory, Windows Server) and cloud (Azure/O365).

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable Spine-Leaf network architectures and segmentation strategies (VLAN/VRF) to support high-priority traffic
• Manage and secure network environments using enterprise firewall and endpoint protection solutions within a zero-trust framework
• Lead configuration and optimization of switching environments (Juniper, Arista, etc.) with a focus on high-throughput video delivery and time synchronization (PTP)
• Build and deploy networks end-to-end, including physical infrastructure (rack/cabling) and logical configuration (VPNs, QoS, load balancing)
• Serve as a Tier-3 escalation point for complex outages, leveraging deep packet inspection and advanced troubleshooting
• Develop documentation and SOPs to support scalability and long-term infrastructure health
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering teams to support streaming protocols (SRT/RTMP) and optimize broadcast workflows
