Job summary

The Kim Komando Show, based in Phoenix, is seeking an experienced audio professional to join our nationally syndicated tech program. You’ll run Wheatstone control boards, edit audio, format shows for SiriusXM and podcasts, and manage live and remote sessions in an in-person role.

This position requires studio experience, a keen ear for detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality sound that supports our influential national platform.

Qualifications

• Must have real audio experience in a professional setting.
• Experience in a broadcast or podcast studio.
• Proficiency with audio editing tools, especially Adobe Audition.
• Live radio experience is a plus and valued.
• Strong attention to detail and quick reflexes in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Run Wheatstone control boards and maintain studio audio quality, live and remote.
• Edit audio: clean, trim, balance, sweeten and optimize.
• Format shows for SiriusXM, Westwood One, and podcast platforms with precise ad timing.
• Manage and monitor studio recordings, live broadcasts and remote sessions.
• Collaborate with the video team to sync sound with visuals across platforms.
• Organize and maintain audio libraries, backups and firmware.
• Troubleshoot issues quickly to minimize dead air.
