Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. seeks a Senior Structural / Bridge Engineer to join the Transportation team in Tampa, Florida. The role focuses on design and analysis of transportation structures, including bridges and seawalls, with a strong emphasis on collaboration and client service.

You will develop construction plans, estimates, and technical reports while leveraging STAAD, MathCAD, and MicroStation to deliver high-quality projects across multiple transportation programs.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Select and apply design criteria for minor bridge design and load rating.
• Prepare design calculations and project documents.
• Produce contract drawings and specifications for bridges and related structures.
• Conduct field inspections and condition assessments.
• Identify and address technical problems promptly.
• Use STAAD, Leap Bridge, MathCAD and spreadsheets for analysis.
• Prepare drawings to client standards using MicroStation and AutoCAD.
