Job summary

A prominent engineering firm in Washington, DC is seeking a skilled engineer with over 4 years of experience in bridge inspection and design. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, as well as EIT or PE certification. You'll be involved in inspecting bridges and other transportation structures, and if desired, designing various related structures. This position offers a long-term opportunity for ownership and the chance to work on major projects in the DMV area.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Bridge Inspection/Design experience.
• EIT or PE required.
• Bachelors Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• NHI Safety Inspection of In-Service Bridges.

Responsibilities

• Safety Inspection of Bridges and other Transportation Structures.
• Design of Bridges, Tunnels, interchanges and other related structures, if desired.
• Training and development of junior inspectors as required.
• Attend continuing education and company trainings.
