Job summary

STRUCTURAL TECHNOLOGIES’ VSL Civil unit in Manassas, VA seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex heavy civil construction from planning to execution, coordinating with field leadership, clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.

Responsibilities include safety and quality leadership, schedule and budget management, contracts and procurement oversight, and mentoring Project Engineers and Superintendents. Regional travel up to 25% with a hybrid work schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of heavy civil construction experience.
• Prime contracting experience preferred.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex heavy civil construction projects from planning through execution.
• Partner with field leadership, clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Manage schedules, budgets, forecasting, and project P&L.
• Oversee contracts, buyouts, subcontractors, and procurement.
• Coordinate work plans, submittals, and equipment needs.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Provide leadership to Project Engineers, Field Managers, Superintendents, and crews.
