Job summary
David Evans and Associates, Inc. is seeking a Senior Bridge Engineer and Task Leader in Salt Lake City, UT.
You will provide technical excellence, leadership, and project management across structural engineering efforts from design to rehabilitation, mentoring junior staff, and directing client-focused solutions. You will lead bridge design deliverables, oversee analyses, ensure code compliance, and contribute to business development while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and clients
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- 12+ years of bridge and structural engineering experience.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Utah or ability to obtain within one year.
- Proficiency with bridge design and analysis software.
- Experience leading a bridge/structural engineering team.
Responsibilities
- Lead development of bridge design deliverables including reports, calculations, and documents.
- Manage and execute bridge planning, design, construction engineering, and rehabilitation projects.
- Oversee and perform structural analyses and design calculations per AASHTO LRFD and codes.
- Provide technical quality control on engineering deliverables.
