Job summary

DRMP is seeking a Senior Bridge Engineer, P.E., to lead complex DOT bridge and infrastructure projects in Boca Raton, FL. You will develop structural calculations, create drawings, and guide project teams from design through construction.

Qualifications

Bachelors of Science from an ABET-accredited university in Civil or Structural Engineering.
Registration as a licensed Professional Engineer and/or Structural Engineer.
10+ years post-registration structural engineering experience.
15+ years of relevant bridge design and plans production experience.
Experience with a variety of bridge design software including the FDOT suite of MathCAD worksheets.
Proficiency in Microstation, GEOPAK, OpenBridge Modeler, AutoCAD/CADD.
3D modeling in OpenBridge Modeler is a plus.
Familiarity with AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications.
Guiding junior staff and participating in multi-discipline bridge projects.

Responsibilities

Develop structural calculations and produce engineering drawings for bridge and transportation structures.
Perform and direct engineering analyses and evaluate alternate solutions.
Prepare written technical reports.
Support construction phase activities including RFIs and shop drawing reviews.
Train and mentor junior engineers.
