Job summary

DRMP seeks a Senior Bridge Engineer, P.E., to lead complex DOT bridge and infrastructure projects in Jacksonville, FL. You will develop structural calculations, produce drawings, and mentor junior engineers.

The role requires a PE/SE license, 10+ years of post‑registration experience, and familiarity with FDOT tools and multiple bridge design software. A $10,000 sign‑on bonus is offered for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET‑accredited university.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) and/or Structural Engineer (SE).
• 10+ years post‑registration structural engineering experience, with complex bridge design.
• 15+ years in bridge design and plans production, including various bridge forms.
• Experience with multiple bridge design software and FDOT toolsets.

Responsibilities

• Develop structural calculations and drawings for DOT bridge projects.
• Lead evaluation of design alternatives and data analysis.
• Prepare technical reports and support project RFIs and shop drawing reviews.
• Mentor junior engineers and guide design teams on multi‑discipline bridges.
• Contribute to design and detailing of large bridge projects.
