Job summary

EAC Consulting, Inc. is seeking a licensed Civil Engineer (PE) to serve as Senior Bridge Engineer in our Structures/Bridges team at the Miami Main office. You will lead design and technical aspects, provide direction to interns, and coordinate with clients on challenging infrastructure projects.

The ideal candidate has a PE license, 10+ years of experience, and FDOT bridge design knowledge. Master’s degree is preferred, with opportunity for growth and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) is required.
• Master’s Degree is preferred.
• Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience.
• FDOT Bridge design experience for category 1 and 2.
• Knowledge of structural engineering and FDOT design standards.

Responsibilities

• Engineer of Record where needed.
• Provide technical direction over interns and designers.
• Develop plans, specifications and reports.
• Lead design process and perform field investigations or inspections.
• Coordinate design elements and perform detailed checks of computations.
• Participate in project development and client communications.
• Assist with proposals and BD content.
