Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Bridge Engineer to lead bridge replacement, repair, inspection, and load rating projects in the Southeast. You will mentor junior engineers and collaborate with transportation clients, with a preference for Knoxville, Nashville, or Chattanooga, TN.

Ideal candidates hold a PE license, a Civil/Structural engineering degree, and at least seven years of relevant experience in bridge design and analysis; travel to project sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Architectural, or Structural Engineering or related discipline.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• 7 years of bridge design/engineering experience; travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis, design, and delivery of prestressed/ reinforced concrete and steel bridges.
• Oversee bridge repair contracts and ensure design quality.
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Support client engagement and project scheduling.
