Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil or construction engineering is required.
• 6 years of related experience or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Wisconsin DOT procedures is required.
• Proficient in structural modeling software and analysis.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead design efforts for local and DOT bridge projects.
• Provide specialized input on transportation projects.
• Manage or actively participate in bridge design and coordination.
• Design bridges using prestressed concrete, reinforced concrete, steel, and timber.
• Assess and rehabilitate existing bridges and conduct load evaluations.
• Prepare technical specifications, reports, and engineering support.
