Job summary

CORRE, inc. is seeking a Mid to Senior Level Bridge Engineer to lead design efforts for local and DOT structures across Wisconsin, with a hybrid schedule and limited onsite requirements.

You will manage bridge projects, perform structural analysis, coordinate with engineers, and contribute to specifications, reports, and design documents, while leveraging your PE license within one year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil or construction engineering.
• 6 years of related experience or equivalent.
• Familiarity with Wisconsin DOT and Bureau of Structures procedures.
• Knowledge of structural modeling software tools.
• Structural problem analysis skills.
• Knowledgeable of standard engineering practices and design codes.
• Excellent verbal communication and technical writing; team-oriented.
• Prior experience with complex bridge projects a plus.
• WI PE license or ability to obtain within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural engineer on projects including reviewing designs and plans.
• Provide specialized technical input on transportation projects.
• Manage or actively participate in bridge projects, coordinating with staff.
• Design bridges using prestressed concrete, reinforced concrete, steel, and timber.
• Assess and rehabilitate existing bridges.
• Perform load evaluations for bridges.
• Prepare technical specifications, design documents, and reports.
