Job summary

Mott MacDonald seeks a Senior Bridge Project Manager to lead bridge and civil-structure projects across railways, highways, and related transportation work. You will oversee design, field investigations, and cost estimating while guiding teams and maintaining client relationships.

The role requires a PE in OH or WV, 10+ years in bridge design, and exposure to other structural projects. A strong Autodesk/Bentley/linux toolset background is preferred. Hybrid in-office collaboration is expected.

Qualifications

As a Senior Bridge Project Manager you will predominantly be involved with bridge or civil structure projects, but will also have exposure to different structural projects. You’ll work across projects for railways, highways, related transportation projects and, of course, bridges.

You’ll have exposure to all sorts of duties; actively participating in:

• Manage bridge design and plan development
• Field investigations, inspections, and repair recommendations
• Type studies, structural designs, preliminary through detailed, including quantity calculation and construction cost estimating, load rating, construction monitoring, expert opinions related to bridges, civil structures and other structures
• Not only will you be involved in a wide range of responsibilities as a bridge / structural project manager, you’ll also be involved in business development. You will be responsible for managing your own transportation and infrastructure projects as well as take a forward-facing role with the client

We invite applications from candidates with the following experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, or equivalent, a masters in structural engineering preferred
• Certification as a registered professional engineer (PE) in Ohio or West Virginia is required
• At least 10+ years of professional experience in bridge design or structural design in transportation or highways project
• Experience working on structural bridge design projects in Ohio or West Virginia
• Exposure to other structural projects is a plus
• Familiarity with AutoDesk and Bentley products, and bridge design software such as LARSA, SAP 2000, STAAD Pro, OpenBridge, CsiBridge, MIDAS, AASHTOWARE Bridge Rating, and MDX
