Job summary

Mott MacDonald invites an experienced Senior Bridge Project Manager to lead bridge and civil structure projects across railways, highways, and related transportation initiatives. You will manage design, field inspections, and cost estimation, while guiding client-facing delivery and business development.

The role requires a PE license in Ohio or West Virginia and 10+ years of bridge design experience, with proficiency in AutoDesk, Bentley tools, and major structural software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, or equivalent, a masters in structural engineering preferred
• Certification as a registered professional engineer (PE) in Ohio or West Virginia is required
• At least 10+ years of professional experience in bridge design or structural design in transportation or highways project
• Experience working on structural bridge design projects in Ohio or West Virginia
• Exposure to other structural projects is a plus
• Familiarity with AutoDesk and Bentley products, and bridge design software such as LARSA, SAP 2000, STAAD Pro, OpenBridge, CsiBridge, MIDAS, AASHTOWARE Bridge Rating, and MDX

You will be responsible for managing your own transportation and infrastructure projects as well as take a forward-facing role with the client

As a Senior Bridge Project Manager you will predominantly be involved with bridge or civil structure projects, but will also have exposure to different structural projects. You’ll work across projects for railways, highways, related transportation projects and, of course, bridges.

You’ll have exposure to all sorts of duties; actively participating in:

• Manage bridge design and plan development

We invite applications from candidates with the following experience:
