Job summary

Weston & Sampson is seeking a Senior Transportation Bridge Design Manager in North Charleston to lead bridge design and project delivery for transportation infrastructure projects across Southeast. In this role, you will manage complex DOT projects and guide a team of engineers.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering and 10-15 years of experience in structural design. The position also offers a competitive pay range of $128,410‑$202,890 based on experience.

Qualifications

• 10-15 years of progressive experience in structural/bridge engineering design.
• Proficiency in AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications.
• Experience with project budgets, schedules, and managing teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead bridge design projects from concept through construction.
• Oversee technical teams ensuring compliance with standards.
• Serve as primary client liaison for project delivery.
