Company Overview

Trovata is the first enterprise platform to automate cash management for finance and treasury operations. We’re at the forefront of a new wave of modern fintech systems leveraging open banking (direct bank APIs) to help with key business challenges that every company faces: managing and forecasting cash flows. Trovata has reinvented an entirely new user experience built natively in the cloud as a true big data platform and built natively on wholesale banking APIs.

The company was founded by a longtime Controller-CFO with a vision for a better way and engineered by an experienced team from Capital One. We’re fortunate to be financially backed by a syndicate of banks, including J.P. Morgan, Wells Fargo, and Capital One.

About The Role

Trovata is seeking a versatile and creative Senior Brand & Marketing Designer to help bring our brand to life across every touchpoint—from large-scale brand initiatives to everyday campaign support. You’ll play a critical role in evolving our visual identity, shaping how we show up in the market, and building scalable systems that ensure design excellence across the board.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy and execution. You’ll flex between shaping the look and feel of our next wave of brand expression and managing the day-to-day production needs of a growing marketing function. You’ll work closely with marketers, product designers, and developers to produce creative that’s not only visually outstanding but also performance-minded, resonant with our ICP, and exciting to the broader market.

If you’re energized by big brand moments, enjoy designing systems that scale, and want to see your work fuel a fast-growing fintech’s reputation and pipeline—this is your seat at the table.

Key Responsibilities

Brand & Visual Identity

  • Contribute to the evolution of Trovata’s brand as we refresh our visual identity
  • Translate high-level brand direction into real-world visuals, systems, and templates
  • Build, maintain, and document scalable design systems that support consistency across all channels
  • Collaborate with Product Design to ensure brand alignment across the entire company—not just marketing
  • Produce creative that energizes our team, resonates with our ICP, and excites the broader market

Campaign & Marketing Design

  • Design assets for digital campaigns, email, social media, paid media, and sales enablement
  • Own website design needs - everything from hefty overhauls, to section redesigns, to graphics and banners
  • Create collateral like PDF guides, presentation decks, and one-pagers
  • Source and manage Adobe Stock assets when original imagery is unavailable Design trade show booths and large-format graphics, and partner with vendors to ensure execution matches vision

Workflow, Collaboration & Vendor Management

  • Own and manage our Marketing Design board in Monday.com, tracking requests and timelines
  • Prioritize projects collaboratively with your manager, balancing quick wins and long-term initiatives
  • Communicate clearly—understand briefs, present ideas, and translate feedback into improvements
  • Work directly with developers to ensure your designs are implementable, performant, and accessible
  • Help manage external vendors, including booth partners or animation contractors, to extend our capabilities
  • Partner with cross-functional teammates across marketing and design functions to ensure your work fits the bigger picture

Skills & Qualifications

  • 4–7+ years of experience in brand or marketing design, ideally in a fast-paced, creative environment with a compelling portfolio of work
  • Expert-level fluency in Figma, including components, auto-layout, and responsive design workflows
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign for collateral and Illustrator/Photoshop for campaigns
  • Knowledge of graphic design fundamentals for print and web; grid systems and layout; typographic systems; color programming, management, and accessibility
  • Experience designing trade show booths, swag, or physical brand experiences
  • Experience working directly with developers and understanding how design translates to implementation
  • Hands-on experience contributing to a brand or website overhaul—ideally both
  • Comfortable using project management tools like Monday.com, Asana, or Jira
  • Excellent communication skills—you confidently convey design ideas and trade-offs
  • Highly organized, proactive, and adaptable
  • Bonus: Ability to create or manage animations for web or video (e.g., Lottie files, After Effects, short commercials)
  • Bonus: Experience designing for tech or fintech companies

What Success Looks Like

  • Trovata’s brand shows up with consistency, creativity, and excellence—in everything that we do
  • Campaign and event creative stands out, resonates with our ICP, and builds brand awareness
  • Design systems that make it easy for others to stay on-brand and scale marketing faster
  • Marketing teammates and stakeholders trust your creative instincts and rely on your execution
