• 5-7+ years of professional design experience in a studio or agency environment.
• Motion graphics skills are a plus.
• Portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking, brand systems, art direction, and high-craft execution.
• Experience designing across digital and physical applications.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma; familiarity with motion or type design tools is a plus.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage concurrent projects and deliver high-quality work on time.
• Cultural fluency with a strong pulse on beauty, fashion, lifestyle, and consumer trends.
• Passion for design, storytelling, and building brands that create cultural impact.

Responsibilities

• Integrate motion thinking through storyboarding or animation direction when relevant.
• Collaborate with Strategy, Industrial Design, Creative Technology, and Client teams to translate insights into creative solutions.
• Contribute to cohesive execution across all touchpoints.
• Present work to clients and internal teams with confidence and clarity.
• Provide feedback and guidance to junior designers.
• Bring a culturally aware perspective to the studio and help foster a culture of creativity, experimentation, and thoughtful risk-taking

We are seeking a Senior Brand Designer with strong conceptual thinking, exceptional craft, and deep experience building brand systems across physical and digital environments. You thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative studio and are equally comfortable generating ideas, shaping visual worlds, and executing with precision. This role sits at the intersection of concept, system, craft, and ownership.

Pay Range: $80,000.00-100,000.00

The range shown represents a grouping of relevant ranges currently in use at Material. Actual range for this position may differ, depending on location and specific skillset required for the work itself.
