Qualifications

• Master’s Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Program.
• Doctorate from an accredited Occupational Therapy Program.
• 7 years of current clinical practice with at least 2000 hours of specialty practice.
• BLS - Basic Life Support certification.
• OT - Licensed Occupational Therapist - State of Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

• Provides advanced therapy evaluations, treatment planning, interventions and discharge planning for a full patient caseload in acute care, skilled facility, acute rehab, outpatient settings as appropriate.
• Mentor and advance care in area of specialty practice; participate in staff orientation and competency assessment.
• Coordinate program development and performance improvement activities; collaborate with other allied health care professionals.
• Engage in student and resident education; support supervision of ICE, OT level 1, and residents.
• Document health progress notes and discharge summaries for all therapeutic interventions.
