Qualifications

• Specialized Experience in law enforcement or related work demonstrating ability to arrest and use sound judgment with firearms.

• Current or former federal experience and compliance with time-in-grade rules may apply.

Responsibilities

• Detect and deter illegal entry and enforce immigration and customs laws at the borders.
• Make arrests, conduct investigations, and deter criminal activity as a Border Patrol Agent.
• Investigate smuggling operations and ensure public safety along land, sea, or air borders.
• Adhere to DHS and CBP procedures, participate in training, and rotate duties across shifts and locations.
