Job summary

Crane Worldwide Logistics is seeking an experienced Senior Integration Engineer to lead integration solutions using Boomi, MFT tools, and event-driven architectures. You will work across engineering, business, and client-facing teams to deliver high-performance integrations across our enterprise ecosystem.

The role emphasizes designing and maintaining Boomi-based integrations, building APIs/connectors, leading full lifecycle delivery, and mentoring junior developers in a fast-paced logistics

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related technical field.
• Boomi expertise with Processes, Atoms, Molecules, APIs, and Connectors.
• Logistics systems integration with SAP TM, Oracle TMS, TMFF, and FourKites using REST, SOAP, and EDI.
• API-led design with REST/SOAP APIs for real-time tracking and updates.
• Event-driven architecture with Apache Kafka for real-time events.
• Robust error handling, alerting, and proactive monitoring practices.
• DevOps/CI-CD experience with Git, Jenkins, and Boomi deployment APIs.
• Agile/Scrum experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Boomi-based integrations for high-volume logistics workflows and B2B exchanges.
• Architect scalable integration frameworks across TMS platforms, carriers, and 3PL systems.
• Build and manage APIs and connectors for shipment tracking and order lifecycle events.
• Lead the full integration lifecycle from requirements to testing, deployment, and support.
• Implement robust error handling, alerting, and self-healing workflows for high availability.
• Integrate with Apache Kafka for event-driven logistics processes.
• Collaborate with DevOps to automate CI/CD using Git, Jenkins, and Boomi APIs.
• Mentor junior developers and review designs to uphold standards.
• Contribute to the enterprise integration roadmap and architecture.
