Job summary

We are seeking a proactive Senior Bookkeeper to join our team, managing day-to-day bookkeeping across a diverse client portfolio and collaborating with a US-based Controller. The role emphasizes ownership, clear communication, and potential growth toward Assistant Controller and FP&A support.

Candidate will work 9 AM–5 PM US Eastern Time, leverage QuickBooks Online and AI tools to speed workflows, and support tax-related tasks across multiple states.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on accounting/bookkeeping experience.
• Experience supporting US-based clients and small-to-midsize businesses.
• Proficient with QuickBooks Online and Excel; able to use AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute the full-cycle bookkeeping process for 15–20 diverse client accounts.
• Maintain general ledgers, perform reconciliations, and process journal entries.
• Ensure AP/AR accuracy and timely processing.
• Execute monthly close workflows and produce financial statements.
