Job summary
Mesa Energy Systems is seeking a Boiler Technician in Chino, CA to maintain and repair boiler systems and controls. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure safe operation of boilers on site.
The ideal candidate has a 4-year apprenticeship or technical schooling, 5+ years of commercial A/C experience, and is available for emergency call-outs. Valid driver’s license required. Compensation aligns with union-driven wage scales and benefits.
Qualifications
- Completed a 4-year apprenticeship or technical schooling.
- 5+ years of commercial air conditioning experience.
- Available for emergency call-outs.
- Team player able to work with other trades and client staff.
- Rule 1415 certified.
- EMS experience with Staefa/Siemens is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license in good standing.
Responsibilities
- Maintain daily boiler operations.
- Perform PM maintenance and repairs on boilers and associated equipment.
- Test and troubleshoot boiler controls and system components.
- Perform monthly testing of all safeties.
- Complete annual tuning and inspections of boilers.
- Monitor chemical feeds for boiler systems.
- Monitor exhaust/stack emissions.
