Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 10+ years of experience in maintenance, inspection, and repair of boiler systems and related equipment.
• Strong knowledge of boiler systems (steam and hot water), combustion systems, and electrical/mechanical troubleshooting.
• Ability to read CAD prints, electrical schematics, and technical manuals.
• Proven experience conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites.
• Proficiency in using various diagnostic tools and testing equipment.
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform startup, inspection, maintenance, and repair of boilers, burners, and control systems.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and conduct root cause analysis to determine appropriate repairs.
• Identify, source, and order necessary replacement parts.
• Lead, mentor, and oversee work performed by field service technicians.
• Ensure jobs are completed on schedule and keep customers informed of any delays.
• Complete work orders and service documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, parts inventory, and safety equipment.
• Travel to customer sites as required.
• Identify opportunities for system upgrades or parts sales to improve efficiency and longevity.
