Job summary

K Komfort Heating & Cooling is seeking an experienced Lead HVAC Boiler Installer to lead installation, replacement, maintenance, and troubleshooting of residential and commercial boiler systems in the Milwaukee area.

This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, proficiency with hydronic heating, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship. You will collaborate with contractors, technicians, and building owners to deliver installations that meet high standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years boiler installation experience.
• Experience with residential and light commercial hydronic heating systems.
• Ability to read plans, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet driving requirements for a company vehicle.
• EPA certification is appreciated.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification considered a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation, replacement, and commissioning of gas, oil, and hydronic boiler systems.
• Train team members who assist with boiler work.
• Read and interpret blueprints, piping schematics, and installation drawings.
• Install piping, pumps, expansion tanks, zone valves, controls, and venting systems.
• Perform startup, testing, balancing, and system commissioning.
• Diagnose and resolve installation-related issues.
• Maintain accurate job documentation and communicate with dispatch.
