Qualifications

• 5+ years managing Liability Bodily Injury claims with significant complexity
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proven research and investigative skills
• Experience using claims systems, digital docs, and MS Office
• Industry training such as AIC, CPCU, or SCLA preferred
• Self-motivated, results-driven, adaptable to change

Responsibilities

• Interpret coverage, conduct investigations, and interview insureds, witnesses, and 3rd party claimants
• Negotiate settlements with individuals, other carriers and/or attorneys
• Prepare reports to reflect and supplement file activity
• Identify and address regulatory, contractual, and internal compliance requirements
• Set and maintain reserves on claim files
• Review reports and related materials as necessary
• Perform other duties as assigned
