Job summary
Enovation Controls LLC is seeking a hands-on Senior Software Engineer to own Bluetooth features across Classic and BLE on embedded Linux, with legacy QNX 6.6 support. You will work across C#, C, and C++ and collaborate with software, architecture, product, and project teams to deliver robust solutions.
The role requires deep protocol/stack-level debugging, Yocto/OpenEmbedded experience, and SCRUM-driven development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Software Engineering or Computer Science.
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Hands-on embedded/RTOS-based Bluetooth protocol stack experience (HCI/L2CAP/RFCOMM).
- Strong proficiency in C# on .NET and C/C++ for stack integration.
- Experience with embedded Linux development, including Yocto or equivalent.
- Experience with Agile/SCRUM development methodologies.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills at the protocol/stack level.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Bluetooth features across Classic (BR/EDR) and BLE on embedded Linux using BlueZ and GCC ARM.
- Maintain feature parity on legacy QNX 6.6 armv7-le platform using Searan’s HCI stack.
- Troubleshoot Bluetooth issues at protocol and stack level, not just the application layer.
- Design and implement robust software components using C#/.NET and C/C++ for stack integration.
- Contribute to system module design and work with Software Architects on scalable solutions.
- Promote best practices to improve code quality, maintainability, and development efficiency.
- Partner with Bluetooth Team Lead to plan monthly releases on Azure DevOps SCRUM.
- Estimate work accurately and collaborate with PM/Project Management to align efforts.
- Work with cross-functional teams to translate customer needs into reliable software solutions.
- Identify and advocate for software/tools improvements and expand static analysis coverage.
- Mentor engineers and stay current with Bluetooth tech and industry trends.
