Job summary

Fifth Third Bank in Cincinnati, OH seeks a Principal Business Information Security Officer to define and lead the Line of Business BISO team, guiding IS professionals to reduce information security risk through strategic consulting, education, and analysis.

You will partner with business leaders and risk partners, influence IS policy implementation, and drive continuous improvement in processes, reporting KRIs and aligning security with customer experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• Seven years minimum experience combining business and information security.
• Information security knowledge and expertise.
• Banking industry knowledge or experience.
• Fifth Third Line(s) of Business knowledge or equivalent experience.
• Project management experience.
• Analytical aptitude with investigative, methodical, critical thinking.
• Ability to interpret and apply policies and regulations across a large, complex business.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic direction for the Frontline LOB BISO program.
• Advise LOB on information security risks and controls.
• Serve as liaison between LOB and IS for security-related processes.
• Monitor KRIs and report trend analyses to LOB leaders.
• Mentor BISOs and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements.
