Qualifications

• Advanced degree (PhD) in Biology or related life sciences.
• 2–5 years in venture capital, investment banking, or buy/sell side research, biotech focus.
• Familiarity with data analysis, machine learning, and AI in finance or biotech.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and due diligence on biotech investments with AI insights.
• Build, update, and maintain financial models to evaluate investments, applying AI techniques where applicable.
• Collaborate with senior investment professionals, data scientists, and software engineers to integrate AI in investment processes.
• Contribute to development of predictive algorithms and AI models to inform strategies.
• Prepare and present investment recommendations, reports, and findings to leadership and committees.
• Establish relationships with industry experts, portfolio companies, and opinion leaders for insights.
• Stay updated on biotech, AI, and regulatory developments affecting investments.
