Job summary

BeOne Medicines seeks a Senior Manager of Biostatistics to lead statistical aspects of RWD/RWE studies, developing protocols, SAPs, and selecting methods. You will analyze diverse data sources and collaborate with programming teams to ensure high-quality analyses and regulatory-ready results.

The role requires strong statistical expertise, experience with big data environments, and the ability to communicate complex results to multi-disciplinary teams. Travel is possible as needed.

Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent in statistics/biostatistics or related discipline with 2+ years relevant work experience, or a Master’s with 4+ years
• Basic knowledge of statistical analysis methodologies and experimental design
• Relational databases and programming languages such as SQL, R, Python, or SAS in big data environment
• Interest in statistical research and novel methods in clinical trials and RWE
• Strong presentation, oral and written communication skills
• Ability to learn, be proactive, and focus on details and execution
• Ability to work in a cross-functional team
• Proficient in SQL, R, Python, SAS, and Microsoft Office apps

Responsibilities

• Develops protocol/SAP and selects suitable statistical methods for RWD/RWE studies
• Analyzes large datasets from claims, registries, PROs, and EHR
• Participates in database design to ensure data quality for analysis
• collaborates with statistical programming to meet analysis requirements
• Interprets results and performs innovative analyses
• Prepares oral and written reports communicating results
• Reviews statistical documents during project initiation, conduct and reporting
• Involved in research activities for innovative statistical methods
• Prepares materials and conducts training for internal/external audiences
• Provides statistical consultation to other functions such as clinical development or commercial
• Problem Solving and project management: identify issues, communicate progress, complete on time and budget
